Alex has worked as a Story Producer, Writer, Director of Photography, Editor, Cinematographer, Media Manager and Researcher throughout the Self-Evident Education video series. He has been keen to find resourceful ways to visualize the stories we tell while ensuring that honest history and essential storytelling elements are consistently present in each of our episodes. His background as a first-generation American, a teaching assistant at Boston Public Schools, and a professional in documentary video production informs his techniques, values and sensibilities in bringing this important work into classrooms across the country.
